40th + Colorado Blvd Mural WIP
BirdSeed Collective has begun work on a new public mural project near the 40th & Colorado Blvd RTD Station along the pedestrian walkway that runs beneath Colorado Blvd. Designed by Anthony Garcia and Thomas Scharfenberg, the mural will feature bold and colorful zarape-inspired designs, lights, and a rainbow-hued rock garden. BirdSeed is employing a number of local youths to help paint walls and rocks throughout the weeks-long project. Ribbon-cutting is slated to happen April 29, 2017. Photos by Raymundo Muñoz.
